
SJHT provides accommodation to young people between 18 en 29 yearsof age with a minimum wage (not exceeding €1517,-- gross a month). SJHT will not accommodate families or young people with children.
We offer a great variety of accommodation. We let rooms in cosy houses dating from the thirties, but also possess highly modern buildings with marvellous apartments. In a quarter of Enschede called "Roombeek" SJHT has realised three apartment buildings. Below you can see some examples of buildings that we let.

All our unoccupied rooms are to be seen on this website. You will have to be registered at our foundation if you want to show your interest in any of our rooms. In the registration-menu you can enter online. When you have paid the registration fee of €10,-- you are added to our computerized list of applicants. With your login-code and password you can respond to what we have on offer. For a room within a dwelling-group there is no waiting list. Once you have registered you can apply for any vacant room. You can get in touch with the group and make an appointment to be introduced an shown around. if you and your co-dwellers hit it off well, and you are pleased with the room, you contact SJHT. The group must also tell us that you have been accepted.

For the independent units (one-room and two-room apartments) there is a waiting list. You will have to be registered at our foundation if you want to show your interest in any of our apartments. When you have paid the registration fee of €10,-- you are added to our computerized list of applicants. You start at the bottom of the list, and as apartments are left and offered, your position on the list improves. At the moment the average waiting period is 8 to 10 months.
If you want to rent a room or an apartment, your monthly ( gross) wages are not to exceed €1517,--. For the one-room apartments you must be able to prove that you have a monthly net wage of at least €602,--, for a two- room apartment you will have to earn a monthly net wage of at least €727,--.
